Project name: 
ESTABLISHMENT OF THE NATIONAL BEVERAGE INDUSTRY CLUSTER

Aim:
Main aim of the project was to apply clustering model to develop co-operation among representatives of the Baltic beverage industries thus increasing their international competitiveness. Project aim was to establish a steady cluster structure, to receive EU subsidy and attract more than new 25 cluster members in 3 years.

Solution:
ADVANCED ADVICE team started the project from cluster concept development. Later on the feasibility study was developed, followed by structuring cluster long term strategy and preparing an application for EU funds.

Our experts proposed and cluster members approved that the cluster should foster cooperation in the fields of export promotion, package waste management and R&D management. The specific programmes were developed to ensure sustainable promotion of the abovementioned cluster activities.

The Beverage cluster is one of the first successful clusters in Lithuania. Right just after establishment cluster united 16 members with total turnover of 300 million Euros. The budget of the cluster establishment project was 900 thousand Euros. The confirmed EU support was 450 thousand Euros.
